What type of leather does Atlas Leather Lux use?
Our products are handcrafted from 100% genuine leather. Depending on the product, size, construction, and intended use, we work with goat, cow, or sheep leather.
Because genuine leather is a natural material, variations in grain, texture, markings, and color are normal. These natural differences make each handmade piece unique.
Are Atlas Leather Lux products handmade?
Yes. Our leather products are handcrafted in Morocco by artisans using traditional leatherworking techniques.
Small variations in stitching, leather grain, color, and finish are natural characteristics of handmade products rather than manufacturing defects.
Do your Moroccan leather poufs come filled?
No. Unless a specific product page explicitly states otherwise, our Moroccan leather poufs are sold as unstuffed leather covers.
This makes international shipping more practical and allows you to choose the firmness and filling material that works best for you.
What can I use to fill a Moroccan leather pouf?
You can fill your pouf with several materials depending on the firmness and weight you prefer.
For a 21-inch pouf, examples include approximately:
- Household textiles: 15–20 lb (7–9 kg) for a firm, stable feel
- Textile core with a soft top: 10–15 lb (4.5–7 kg)
- Shredded foam in a liner: 8–12 lb (3.5–5.5 kg)
- Polyester fiberfill in a liner: 4–6 lb (2–3 kg)
- EPS beads in a liner: approximately 2.5–3 cu ft (70–85 L)
Clean old towels, blankets, clothing, and other household textiles are a practical option and can produce a firm pouf while giving unused textiles a second life.
The amount required varies depending on the size of your pouf, filling material, and desired firmness.
Can I sit on a leather pouf?
Our poufs can be used as low seating, footrests, floor cushions, or decorative ottomans once appropriately filled.
How firm and supportive the pouf feels depends heavily on the filling material, quantity, and how evenly it is packed. We therefore do not specify a universal weight capacity across all pouf sizes and designs.
How do I get a firm, well-shaped pouf?
For a firmer result, use dense filling such as clean household textiles and distribute the material evenly throughout the pouf.
Pay particular attention to filling the edges before completing the center. Compress the filling gradually until the pouf maintains its intended shape without overstretching the leather or zipper.
What sizes are your Moroccan leather poufs?
Sizes vary by product. For example, many of our round Moroccan leather poufs measure approximately 50 cm in diameter × 30 cm high (19.7 × 11.8 inches).
Always check the Core Physical Specifications on the individual product page before ordering, as other poufs and ottomans may have different dimensions.
How do I clean and care for genuine leather?
For routine care, remove dust with a clean, soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a product intended for genuine leather and test it first on a small, hidden area.
Avoid soaking the leather, machine washing it, or using harsh household cleaners. Prolonged exposure to moisture, strong heat, and direct sunlight can also affect natural leather over time.
Can I use my leather pouf outdoors?
Our genuine leather products are primarily intended for indoor use unless a product page specifically states otherwise.
Natural leather should not be left exposed to rain, excessive moisture, or prolonged direct sunlight. If you temporarily use a pouf outdoors, keep it dry and bring it back indoors after use.
How are your leather headboards installed?
Our leather headboards are designed for mounting according to the configuration shown on the individual product page.
The necessary mounting hardware/tools are included with the headboard, so you receive what is required for its intended installation.
Because wall materials and installation conditions vary, customers should make sure the mounting method is appropriate for their wall before installation.

Our standard processing and handling time is approximately 1–3 business days.
Because our products are handmade, the exact preparation time may depend on the product and order requirements. Custom or made-to-measure products may require additional production time when stated or agreed before ordering.
How long does delivery take?
After your order has been prepared and dispatched, delivery typically takes approximately 5–8 business days.
This is separate from our standard 1–3 business day processing/handling period.

Where are Atlas Leather Lux products made and shipped from?
Our leather products are handcrafted and fulfilled from Morocco.
Atlas Leather Lux is operated by UIN AGENCY LLC, while production and fulfillment take place in Morocco. This distinction is also reflected in our business and policy information.
What is your return policy?
Eligible unused products can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
For standard returns where the item is not damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Products must remain unused and in their original condition. Poufs and other products sold unstuffed should not be filled or used if you intend to return them.
Custom and made-to-measure products are generally not returnable unless they arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or there was an error on our part.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us as soon as possible and provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging where relevant.
If the issue resulted from an error on our part, we will provide the appropriate resolution and you will not be required to pay the applicable return shipping costs.
